A living monument that collects, preserves and recreates the history of Frisco, Texas, has opened its doors as a tourist destination. The Heritage Museum is a two-story, 18,000 square foot complex designed to showcase ageless artifacts and objects that hold many stories of life long ago in a western railroad town and some of the traditions that have endured over the years. The interactive museum featuring hands-on exhibits will allow visitors to understand how the early citizens of Frisco lived, worked, and played. A living village has been recreated with replicas of the Lebanon Baptist Church, a one room school house, a log cabin, the Smith Muse house, and the Frisco Train Depot.

You'll find the largest private collection of Texas sculptures on public display without a charge in Hall Office Park at Gaylord and the Dallas North Tollway. 40 large-scale pieces, all owned by Craig Hall, are featured in the sculpture park with an additional 100 pieces of artwork presented in and around the Office Park.

Public Art
In 2002, Frisco passed an ordinance establishing Frisco's Pulic Art program. Frisco's ordinance calls for a percentage of Capital Project Funds to be used to commission public art. Known at "Percent for Art", this tool is already used by more than 350 cities, states and public agencies across the country.
