The City of Frisco enthusiastically welcomes the return of The 2012 Winter Games of Texas that will include 3,000 athletes and 14,000 spectators. This multi-sport youth athletic event is patterned after the real Olympics and will feature a dozen different sports played in venues throughout Frisco, with one event taking place in Plano. The growth and success of the event is another example of Frisco continuing to be a prominent location for hosting major and minor sporting events.
